Giant Kern Pronounced g-eye-ant kirn
Kerns have got to be the most unique monsters. They are made form molten rock and have two large feet. They are short but very large and husky. They vary in color from a green and brown to a maroon and black. They have two thick horns curving downward from their foreheads. Their facial expressions are quite ugly and scary looking as you look into the red glowing eyes of the Kern. Two 'tails' stick out behind the spikes on the Kern's back. On each 'tail' is a white or blue tattoo. When you explore the depths of Darkon 3 listen for their heavy stomp and deep roar; it's a sign to start running!
Locating Giant Kern
The most popular spawn of Kern is in the Southernmost part of Darkon 3. Just directly to the
East of the House of Glaphan.
