• When used, this scroll will protect a weapon from breaking if an Ultimate upgrade fails. You must use the scroll before attempting the upgrade, and the scroll is consumed whether the upgrade is a success or a failure. Used for upgrading Unique to Ultimate, as well as higher Ultimate upgrading. It is necessary to use a Scroll of Xprotect at all levels of Ultimate upgrading to prevent item breakage upon failure.

• Protection for upgrading normal and Unique equipment requires using the Scroll of Sprotect.
• Protection for upgrading accessories requires using the Scroll of Aprotect.
