Me

Well I'm a stay at home dad. I have 2 boys who also play this game, though not as much as I do. ( They have a life) lol. I spend most of my days in front of the computer. I studied to be a lab technician but had to let it go for health issues. Hence the reason I spend most of my day in front of the computer.

History

I learned of Flyff back in 2005 if I remember correctly. It was in version 5 at the time. When my son showed my the in game graphics I drooled. At the time we had an old PII, 500mhz with 8megs of video ram. As you can imagine it was a lag fest. But still we played. After maybe 3 months we stopped because the constant lag was unsupportable. I came back in the early spring of 2006, new computer, just before v7. That was an update. Rollback after rollback, what a nightmare. Playing now in much more enjoyable. The rich graphics of this game will no likely keep me hooked for a while.

Present

I became an editeur on the 22 of April. I knew nothing about wiki code, but I'm learning fast. I am a compulsive worker and can stay on a task for hours. I love the game and wish for the wiki to fill it full potential. There is just so much content. Most fans sites just brush the surface. Here at the wiki we do it in detail and full color to boot. Lets see who far this ride goes!

Pass times

Other then Flyff I enjoy reading, ceramics, watching movies, Fishing , swimming, walking in the woods (when i can), computer reprogramming and a good cup of vanilla coffee.

Template:Delete

Sorry about that, I realized when you used it that {{Delete}} is more intuitive than {{Deletion}}. I've changed it so that Template:Delete links to Template:Deletion, feel free to use either one.

Template Modifications

Not at all, I think my forte is more in the genre of making wiki code. As for its presentation, I'm a bit more unsure of that. If you think the color for ANY of the templates I've made, not just the delete template, could be improved, feel free to edit it at will. The only thing I'd have a problem with would be a complete revert of one of my changes, for no reason whatsoever.

Wiki Editing

Well, I don't really see it as being disrespectful unless an editor explicitly asks that others refrain from editing a particular page. This is a wiki, after all; everybody's free to edit ;)

Yes, I think there's quite a backlog that needs to be done, but I'll get there eventually.

Thanks for letting me know, I'll do that if needed. I usually create pages and edit with the expectation that it'll be further improved by somebody else though.

On another matter, could I ask you to use the "Summary" field to note down a short summary of the changes you've made to a page when you save it? It really helps a lot for people who view the page's history afterwards; when going through some blank articles to determine whether they should be deleted or not, I had to manually review the changes instead of just looking at the summaries to see why they needed to be deleted. The summary can be also be used to explain your reasoning for a given change.

Confusion

On this article, there's a commented-out {{Completed Version|11}} tag, and underneath it, an Under Construction tag. Is the Completed Version tag added because the page is almost completed? Is it still under construction? --Reilwin 11:33, 30 August 2008 (PDT)

Tools

I hope you don't mind if I've changed the examples in Tools to display the templates themselves rather than images. True, it includes the page in the categories, but it also shows the templates live, as they are -- so changes won't require new images to be uploaded. I'm pretty sure people would be able to figure out that Tools isn't really a stub or to be deleted anyway.
