When used, this scroll will protect an item from breaking if an upgrade fails. You must use the scroll before attempting the upgrade, and the scroll is consumed whether the upgrade is a success or a failure. Used for both normal upgrading and elemental upgrading. It is only necessary to use a Scroll of Sprotect when upgrading an item to +4 and beyond.

Protection for upgrading Ultimate weapons requires using the Scroll of Xprotect.
Protection for upgrading accessories requires using the Scroll of Aprotect.
