I do not remember my account information. How do I retrieve my account ID and/or registered email for the account?

Please submit your ticket specifying what you are trying to recover (your account ID or your registered email) and answer the following questions to the best of your ability.

If you do not know the answer to a question, please specify by saying you do not know or entering “n/a”

Account ID?

Registered email?

Registration date?

IP address (visit http://www.whatismyip.com to retrieve this)?


Full name?

Date of birth?

Physical mailing address (Street address)?

Secret question and answer?


Furthermore, please list some of the characters on this account and their respective servers. This will aid the GMs and Customer support staff with locating the proper account.


I do not remember the password to my account. How do I go about retrieving or resetting it?

You may reset your gPotato password at the following URL:

Please be sure to use your registered email address and to keep a record of all of your account information for future reference.


How do I take a screenshot?

You can take screenshots of a player or situation by pressing 0 on the keyboard. The image will be saved in the default folder: C:Program FilesGpotatoFlyffCapture. The capture folder will not be created until you take your first image. You can also press the Print Screen button on the keyboard and paste the image in Paintbrush.

I’m trying to create a new account but I haven’t received the confirmation activation letter. Is there something wrong with the system?

First check your spam filters and spam inboxes to see if the letter is there. Also, be aware that activation confirmation letters can take up to 24 hours to receive in worst case scenarios. If you still do not receive a confirmation email after 24 hours from creating your account, please try to re-register. We have known issues with yahoo emails and a few other sites, so please use one from gmail.com or hotmail.com. Those domains should be able to retrieve your activation letter. If you still encounter problems and do not receive your confirmation letter after 24 hours, please let us know so that we can further assist you with this issue.

Please make sure to save all your account information for future reference.

I do not remember my bank pin. How do I retrieve or reset it?

Please submit your ticket answering the following questions to the best of your ability. If you do not know the answer to a question, please specify by saying you do not know or entering “n/a”

Account ID?

Registered email?

Registration date?

IP address ( http://www.whatismyip.com )?

Full name?

Date of birth?

Physical mailing address (Street address)?

Finally, please specify for which characters you would like your bank pin.

I tried to log in but the game says I’m banned. Please tell me why. I would also like to know the duration of my ban.

Please submit your ticket specifying that you are banned and provide to us your account ID. The GM team and Customer Support staff will provide you with the details of your ban.

I was scammed in game by another player. Can you retrieve my items somehow? Is there anything you can do against the person who scammed me?

Unfortunately, we cannot restore items lost as a result of being scammed as any trades are our player's sole responsibility. Appropriate actions will be taken against the reported person if you can provide screenshots of the incident/conversation that occurred. If this is the case, please submit your ticket specifying that you were scammed and provide to us any number of screenshots depicting the incident so that we may review them.

Trading

Know who you are trading with. If it seems too good to be true, it likely is. Any trades are deemed voluntary and therefore we can not help you. You are responsible for your own actions. This includes cross server trading."


Here are a few tips on how to avoid being scammed:

Always use Perin instead of Penya for trading large amounts of Penya.

Always count the zeros before you trade the items.

Always verify the item being traded is the right item.

Always be sure you can trust guild members with your guild warehouse.

Never loan your items to players who want to try out your equipment.

Never trade your items to players that will help you level up.

Never trade your items to be accepted in a party or guild.

Never trade your items to players willing to upgrade it for free.

Never trade your items to players of different servers.

Never reveal your account information to another player.

Never visit a website advertising free items or free gpotatos.

I seem to somehow be stuck in game. I can’t move, fly, or even use a blinkwing. Is there anything that I can do?

If you are stuck, please use the 5 minute teleport located in your motion window (press O). This should also work while you are on a board. Please do NOT move or do anything for the full 5 minutes of the casting time. If this does not work and you still encounter any problems, please submit your ticket specifying that you are stuck despite using the 5 minute teleport. We will do our best to assist you in game.

Is there any way for me to transfer my character and or items from one server to another? Is there a way for me to transfer characters from one account to another?

Unfortunately we simply do not have the ability to facilitate character or item transfers whether it be from account to account or server to server. We apologize for the inconvenience.

My pet died due to lag or a disconnect. Is there any way I can revive my pet?

While we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and do sympathize, unfortunately we cannot restore any pets that have died regardless of the reason. Unless a Pet is accidentally sold to an NPC or deleted, they are not covered under our restoration policy (http://flyff-forum.gpotato.com/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=2680845).

Is there any way I can get a name change?

Unfortunately, name change scrolls are only provided to names with inappropriate words or names containing illegal characters. We will only make an exception to this rule in the case that you have a character name that is the same as your account name as this poses a security risk to your account. If however you are being harassed by other players because of your name, you are more than free to send in a report (be sure to include screenshots) and we will look into the matter and take the appropriate actions.

If your account name is the same as your character’s name, please submit your ticket specifying that you would like to request a name change and provide to us your character’s name and his/her respective server.

Note: There is also a name change scroll in the Cash Shop you can use to change the name of your in game character.

I lost an item in the mail system. I may have mailed it to the wrong person or I didn’t check my box within 14 days of the item being sent. It’s also possible that I deleted the mail before taking the item out of it. Is it possible to recover it?

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, but items lost in our mailing system are unfortunately not covered under our restoration policy:

As such we will be unable to assist you with the recovery of this item.

If your item is covered, please submit your ticket stating that you lost/broke an item. Detail how you lost the item and provide to us the exact name of the item.

Finally, please note that falsifying a report to a GM or Customer Service Representative WILL result in a ban being placed on your account.

My character was accidentally deleted. Is there any way for you to restore him?

Please submit your ticket specifying that you have a deleted character that you wish to restore.

Provide to us the exact name of this character and his/her respective server.

While we cannot guarantee that your character will be restored, we will do our best to fulfill your request.


Your servers just had a rollback and I lost some items. Is there any way I can have these items restored?

We apologize for any inconvenience. While we sympathize with your situation, unfortunately, we cannot restore items or experience that are lost in server rollbacks, crashes, or maintenance.

My account was compromised and accessed by another person without my permission. My items were stolen as well. Is there anything you can do for me?

If your account has been compromised, please submit your ticket stating that your account was compromised and accessed by another user without your permission.


Furthermore, please provide to us the following information in the body of your email:

List of your characters and their respective servers that were compromised.

Date and estimated time that you noticed foreign access onto your account.

List of items that you had lost and on which character they were on.

Please be patient as our investigations will take some time. We will update you as often as we can and we will do our best to track down the persons responsible, and restore your items to you should your account qualify for a restoration.


Please note, however, that falsifying a report to a GM or Customer Service Representative WILL result in a ban of your account.

Is there a rule against kill stealing or drop stealing?

Unfortunately as per the FlyFF rules, Kill stealing and Drop stealing are not considered to be offenses. However, we do understand that it can be a very frustrating situation. In the future, we would recommend switching channels to get away from any player that is bothering you. Should the player choose to follow you to another server, it is then considered harassment and the appropriate action can be taken.

I’m being harassed in game. Is there anything that you can do?

If you are being harassed by another player(s), please provide to us your server and the name of the person(s) harassing you. Finally, please provide to us any number of screenshots depicting the incident; these will facilitate our investigation so that we may take the appropriate actions where necessary.

I am being Killed on Sight (KoS) in the arena. Is there anything that you can do?

Unfortunately the arena was designed with PvP in mind. If you are constantly being killed by other players, we regret to inform you that no rules are being broken. We recommend that you stay outside of the arena grounds to avoid being killed, or even switching channels to avoid the same players attempting to kill you. Should players follow you to another channel, then this is considered harassment and we can take the appropriate actions where necessary.

I see another player with an inappropriate name that offends me. Can you do something about this?

Please submit your ticket specifying that there is another player with an inappropriate name. Provide to us his exact character name and the server that he/she is on. We will look into the matter and take the appropriate actions where necessary.
